CHANGES TO MWG SUMMER CAMP IN 2020:
FIVE days instead of four!
EVERY week of the summer is open to summer camp for BOTH age groups.
Max enrollment is TEN kids per age group instead of twenty!
THEMED Camp days 🙂
This year our summer camps will all be FIVE days instead of four days that we have done before in order to accommodate everyone’s working schedule. We will offer camps to BOTH different age groups EVERY week of the summer but will be capping enrollment at only TEN kids per age group. This will provide a more intimate and productive experience for all of our students. We will generally have 2 coaches for each group of 10 kids to help maintain order and safety during our training. We will also be running a different THEME every day in order to help set expectations for the kids and parents and mix things up a bit! We’re super excited about the new changes in camp this year and looking forward to seeing you there!!
Our trainers are certified in parkour, great with kids, full of energy and absolutely love what they do! Also trained in pediatric first aid, CPR, AED. We maintain a 1-to-5 coach to student ratio
Send them with good shoes comfy clothes and a lunch and two snacks per day. We do have a water fountain.
Camp hours: 9:30-3:30 Extended hours available, 8:30am – 5:30pm As always, please let us know if you have any questions! : 207-370-4298
COVID-19 DAY CAMP PRECAUTIONS
We take health and safety very seriously for the sake of your families and ours and will be strict about the rules put in place by the state of Maine as well as our own operational procedures. Below is a list of things you need to be aware of upon registration of our camps:
Physical distancing of 6-feet will be maintained as much as possible for all activities, workshops, meetings and lunch time.
Lines will be marked off on the ground to indicate waiting areas and lines during activities, bathroom line, sanitizer line, etc.
Spaces will be marked off on the tables for eating.
Ventilation will be increased to allow for maximum airflow.
Activities will be performed outdoors in our turf classroom as much as possible. (This classroom is directly accessible from and the back of the building as well as through the door from our strength studio)
Face coverings are required for all campers when we are not able to physically distance the students from each other or from the staff. We will provide face coverings for anyone without a mask. They will be worn around the neck at all times and pulled up onto the face when kids are within 6 feet of one another.
Students must bring their own water bottle. The water fountain is no longer intended for drinking from directly but can be used for refills.
Please pack all lunch and snack items for your child. No food will be provided by the gym.
Please talk to your children about the importance of good hygiene at camp.
